Recycling Center Hours:  The recycling center can now be used as a self service center 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you would like assistance, the center will be manned with workers on Tuesdays noon - 4pm & Saturdays 9am - noon, weather permitting.

Brush Pick Up:  Last Monday of every month and will begin on March 25th. and stop on November 25th. 

Leaf Pick Up:  Spring leaf pickup will be as follow: April 08, April 15, April 22, April 29, May 6, October 7, October 14, October 21, October 28 November 4, November 11, November 18, November 25 

Brookside Cemetery Flower and Shrub Policy: The City of West Branch assumes the general care of Brookside Cemetery.  In order to maintain an aesthetically pleasing cemetery we need your help.  Please abide by the following rules and regulations when placing flowers on gravesites:
►        There will be no planting on any plotted grave space.
►        Flowers, whether unplanted natural or artificial, are permitted on a burial space without limitation for a period of two weeks after interment therein.
►        Flowers, whether unplanted natural or artificial, are, except as provided under the above rule, limited to one shepherd hook per grave site from May 1st to October 15th of each year.  Glass containers are not allowed. 
►        Grave blankets will be permitted from October 15th to April 15th.  If not removed by April 15th they will be removed and disposed of by the Cemetery maintenance staff.
►        The DPW Superintendent shall have the authority to remove any or all floral designs, flowers, weeds, trees, shrubs, plants or herbage of any kind from the cemetery as soon as, in the judgment of the DPW Superintendent, they become unsightly, dangerous, detrimental or diseased, or when they do not conform to the standards maintained.  Any item removed will be marked and stored in the chapel.  Any item not claimed will be disposed of one year after removal.
►        The City of West Branch shall not be responsible for any kinds of individual plantings damaged by the elements, vandals, thieves, or by other causes beyond its control.
