The City is currently in the process of redoing the Economic Development Strategy and will be meeting starting in January with expected completion in March. The new plan will be loaded upon completion. With the executive orders limiting meetings, the completion of the Economic Strategy has been temporarily delayed. Once completed, it will be loaded to the website.

UPDATE: Due to COVID restrictions, the Economic Development Strategy had to be put on hold due to in person meetings not being allowed. The City intends to start working on the strategy as soon as the health restrictions allow during the 2021 calendar year.

The City of West Branch is a unique and wonderful community that serves as the county seat for Ogemaw County, Michigan.
