Applications MUST be turned in no later than by noon on Wednesday, November 29th so that they can be included in Council packets for the 6:00 p.m. City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, December 4th in the Council Chambers of West Branch City Hall, as it is anticipated that decisions regarding appointments to the IDC will likely be made during this meeting (so interested parties are encouraged to also come to the Council meeting if they desire, though attendance at the December 4th Council meeting is not required in order to be appointed--only the timely submittal of the completed application is required).
All members of all City Boards & Commissions are required by the City Charter to have satisfactory attendance at Board/Commission meetings in order to remain eligible for service. Therefore, applicants should be willing and able to commit to attending meetings and not missing more than 3 consecutive meetings in a row, nor missing more than 25% of all meetings within a fiscal year (July 1st - June 30th).
